To be honest, I was a little ‘meh’ about the kit when I first got
it. I really like my AFG, so the thought of adding anything to it made me a
little skeptical. But when Eric and the Yankee Division came up to an OP where
the Immortals were playing, I noticed he had MagGrips on all his Pmags, so I
thought I’d at least give the AFG kit a shot.

Now, the question is about how does it work. My take – this kit is
excellent. Without gloves it certainly improves your grip. With gloves, it
really gives you a great hold of your AFG. I would compare the texture of the
actual grips to a slightly smoothed-out sandpaper. For $5.95 it’s hard to go
wrong. This one gets Carp’s thumbs up!

I wanted to give you an update on my experience with your product.
First, let me say that it does what you say it does. It’s easy to apply and
stays put. I originally put the first pack on without a heat gun. Surprisingly,
only one magazine had the front panels peel at the corners. I pushed them back
down and this time hit them with the heat gun. Nearly six months later and
still firmly stuck to the magazine. Since then, I’ve applied all the rest per
your instructions and not one failure. I live in the southwestern desert and
let me say that it not only gets really hot but can be bone chillingly cold at
times. Some of these magazines permanently reside in my vehicle and the
MagGrips have stayed in place through all of these temperature extremes. I have
even found a use for the left over traction material. It fits perfectly on the
bottom of my ammo cans. For the 30 cal. cans the long side goes along the long
side of the can and for the 50 cal. cans it goes the other direction. Thanks

The best thing to ever happen to the AR platform is the Magpul
PMAG, but just when I thought it couldn’t get any better I found out about Mag
Grip.

Mag Grip adhesive textured grips have been the best accessory that I’ve added
to my PMAGS, they make it so much easier to handle the magazine wet or with
gloves on.

Not to mention that they also add a certain amount of Tacticool factor and
contrast to my FDE mags.

If you are like me, the Mapul MOE 870 forend is a great upgrade to
your shotgun, but if you use it in wet conditions, or use to shot a bit, the
hard plastic can get slippery, or a bit rough to shot for a day. With the Mag
Grips 870 MOE Forend Grip Kit these problems will go away. The Mag Grips are
made of rubber that will help improve grip in all weather types, and also add
some comfort to the hard plastic forend. I really like the added grip in all
conditions, without being harsh on your hands like grip tape.

The fit of the Panels is perfect, and I did not need to trim any of them.
Install took about 5 minutes, and does not require any tools ( a hair dryer
does help loosen up the glue to help stick better). The MagGrips use 3M glue to
hold them which holds very well.
